To make Streem interactive video calls, Streem needs your permission to access your camera and microphone. If these permissions have been denied in the past, you might be unable to see or hear each other — or the customer might receive an error message such as:
"It looks like we do not have permissions to access your camera or microphone. Please refresh the page and accept the permissions prompt, or go to your device's settings, select "Safari", and ensure that "Camera & Microphone Access" is toggled on."
To correct the problem, follow these steps.
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and select Safari.
- Select Camera.
- Make sure either Ask or Allow is selected.
- Go back and repeat for Microphone.
