What are the Device and Browser Requirements to Use Streem?

Customer Requirements

Note: Customers on the other end of your call must be on a mobile device (no laptops or desktop computers) and meet the compatibility requirements. No app downloads are required to use Streem's core services. Streem works best on the most updated devices.

iPhones:

Compatible models: iPhone 7+

Operating system version: iOS 15+ (note: currently on iOS 16.2)

Browsers: Safari or Google Chrome

Android Phones:

Compatible models: Most Android devices are compatible with Streem so long as they are running on an updated operating system. Devices uncommon to the U.S. may not be fully supported (such as Huawei).

Operating system version: Android 10+

Browsers: Chrome (Note:Samsung devices also offer 'Samsung Browser,' which we currently don't support – use Chrome instead)

Expert Requirements

Note: Mobile device browsers will NOT work as an Expert using Streem. The app is the only way to use a mobile device. Most experts make calls from their laptop or desktop.

Devices:

Any relatively modern laptop or desktop computer running Windows or MacOS.

Supported Browsers:

Safari, Google Chrome, any browser running on 'Chromium' (This includes Microsoft Edge, Brave, and more)

Minimum Screen Resolution:

1100px width x 800px height

Mobile Apps:

iOS Streem Expert app (for mobile Apple devices only, search "Streem AR Video" in App Store to quickly locate).
